Revit Building Information Modeling software gives the individual designer the production capabilities of a team of designers, allowing for the quick creation of construction drawings and fast and easy implementation of project changes. In this one-on-one workshop, you’ll learn how to effectively create new projects in Revit, as well as converting existing AutoCAD projects to Revit. In that time, I cover:
Starting a new project (settings) Setting up the various floor and roof levels for a project Creating custom exterior envelope and interior partition-wall assemblies Adding windows and doors and creating your own custom-designed glass curtain walls Creating floors, roofs, and ceilings Adding stairs Adding text and dimensions Assembling plan, section, and elevation views of your project onto your own customized title block sheets
Revit is really easy to use, and you’ll find that after you complete a project in it, you won’t want to go back to AutoCAD. The fee for this crash course is $175.00 per hour, per person, paid at the time we meet.
